Once Upon a Time is een Amerikaanse fantasyserie van de zender ABC. De serie ging in première op 23 oktober 2011.
Emma Swan is van beroep bounty hunter en kan goed mensen opsporen die liever niet gevonden willen worden. Zelf wordt ze op haar 28ste verjaardag gevonden door een 10-jarige jongetje die zegt haar zoon te zijn. Hij zegt in een dorp, Storybrooke, te wonen waar alle sprookjesfiguren door de boze heks (zijn stiefmoeder) zijn verbannen en dat Emma de enige is die deze vloek ongedaan kan maken. Alle bewoners uit Storybrooke lijden door de spreuk aan geheugenverlies en weten niet welk sprookjesfiguur ze eigenlijk zijn.

very nice series saw season 1 & 2 on tv, watched a bit of season 3 on computer. very nice twist with those fairy tales and combination with disney characters, I'm curious how it ends.

It is quite special to see how many people apparently want to spend time watching a series that they do not like , and then also tell on this site that it is nothing , and people who happen to have a slightly different view of entertainment . relax and just appreciate the humor and absurd twist on fairy tales (which we all know and apparently are still told to children all over the world) dismiss them as people you can't take seriously....... pffffffff being able to watch a series in a relaxed way that you do not HAVE to take seriously is what makes this series fun ... and yes I am a tough man , but I think it is a worldly fun and entertaining series even though the actors may not be the dear...i say let season 4 but come.....

Nice series, but has a dip every now and then. Sometimes it is a bit complicated who is who and when, but that should not spoil the fun. 4 seasons can be seen on Netflix and that is handy, watch a few episodes in a row, or a few evenings because that way you get used to the people much faster.

Years ago I started this series when it was still on regular Dutch TV. Only a few seasons were broadcast, now it can be seen in its entirety on Disney, and I started again at the beginning, a fun fantasy series, highly recommended
