Eighth and final season of Outlander receives first teaser from Starz

Starz has released the first teaser for the eighth and final season of Outlander, officially starting the countdown to the end of the beloved series. The preview offers a journey through time: from the first meeting between Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire Fraser (Caitriona Balfe) to their later years, where their love remains as strong as ever.

Starz promises a combination of tender romance and gripping suspense, exactly what has captivated fans of the series for the past decade. The teaser also hints at a life-threatening prophecy that raises the question once again: can Jamie escape his fate?

At the start of season eight, it becomes clear that the war has caught up with the Frasers at Fraser’s Ridge, their now flourishing settlement that has grown in their absence. With new residents and changes, Jamie and Claire are forced to question what they are willing to sacrifice for their home—and more importantly, what they would give up to stay together.

As they unite against external threats, family secrets that finally come to light create turmoil within their own circle. Although they have left the fight for American independence behind, their battle for Fraser’s Ridge has only just begun.

Alongside Heughan and Balfe, Sophie Skelton (Brianna MacKenzie), Richard Rankin (Roger MacKenzie), John Bell (Young Ian), David Berry (Lord John Grey), Charles Vandervaart (William Ransom), Izzy Meikle-Small (Rachel Hunter), and Joey Phillips (Denzell Hunter) also return to the cast.
