Ohhh .... this series continues to haunt you instinctively. It's now been 2 weeks since I've finished looking through all 4 seasons at a stretch, but I still think about it and actually miss it every now and then. The series has apparently gotten under my skin. I thought it was very impressive, especially what the story does to Jamie 'Fraser. What a beautiful man that is. I couldn't do this actor but his role and appearance is so warm, fair and very tough. The whole series has a good storyline, there is simply everything you could wish for, both for men and women. From romance to war, from eroticism to sadism, from real love to deadly hatred. The piece of history is also a nice bonus for people who do not like history, it has made me very curious. The music is so great and atmospheric, it makes it complete. I can't help it, but after seeing Braveheart more than 20 years ago, I fell in love with the Scots and this series has completely awakened that feeling in me.
Oh Episode 7. I held my breath for 45 minutes. What a beautiful series this is. And just when you think: ohhh that couldn't be better, then that oh yes moment is there again. That other world...
