Ozark renewed with fourth and final season

Netflix has renewed Ozark with its fourth season. This will also be the final season. The third season of Ozark, which released near the end of March, was watched incredibly well. The series has now been renewed with a fourth season, which will also be the last. It will, however, have more episodes than the previous seasons. The fourth season will have fourteen episodes and will be released in two equally divided parts.

The earliest expected release date is 2021, but that greatly depends on the circumstances surrounding the coronavirus. According to Jason Bateman (Arrested Development), who portrays Marty Byrde, a bigger season also means bigger problems for the Byrdes. He is looking forward to ending everything with a bang.

In Ozark, Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman) is at the head of a money-laundering department of one of the biggest Mexican drug cartels. When something goes wrong, Mary his wife and children are forced to leave their apparent ordinary life in Chicago to live in the Missouri Ozarks region in order to continue their work.
