The series is described as a true underdog story in which Maxine Dellacorte (Wiig) struggles to find her place within the ruthless high society of Palm Beach. As she attempts to break the impenetrable divide between the "haves" and the "have-nots," Palm Royale poses a central question: "How much of yourself are you willing to give up to have what someone else has?" The series is presented as a tribute to every outsider fighting for a chance to belong.
In season two, after a shocking and public breakdown in the first season's devastating finale, Maxine has become a social pariah. She will have to draw on her deep well of cunning and resourcefulness to prove that she not only belongs but perhaps even has the power to rule the town. In the process, she uncovers untold truths and finally understands what this world is truly built on: secrets, lies, and the occasional crime.
According to creator Abe Sylvia, the second season will be even bigger and more spectacular than the first. He promises that viewers can expect the unexpected and that the series will double down on everything that made season one so special.
Sylvia explained that the goal was to create a finale that leaves the audience breathless and with an uncontrollable urge to know what happens next—something the creative team already had strong ideas for when the first season ended.
Palm Royale returns on Wednesday, November 12. The season will consist of ten episodes: the first premiere airs on November 12, followed by a new episode each week until the season finale on January 14, 2026.
