The DVD release of the first season of Peacemaker contains a lot of extra content in addition to the eight episodes. The hero series Peacemaker (2022) was soon renewed with a second season. However, it may take a bit longer before it's actually released. Fans of the series probably won't be able to enjoy that second season until 2025 or 2026.
In the meantime, however, they can enjoy the DVD / Blu-ray version of the first season. And fortunately, no expense has been spared to make this edition a real sweet treat.
To summarize the story of Peacemaker for those who missed the series itself: Peacemaker who made his appearance in the remake of the Suicide Squad film narrowly managed to make it to the end of that film. At the start of the series, which was built around his character, he has not yet fully recovered from his injuries. Yet he is again recruited into a secret company to fight against injustice.
Peacemaker is a superhero series like there are dime a dozen these days. For one viewer they may make a channel that broadcasts superhero series 24 hours a day, while for the average viewer, one or two of these series is enough to be satisfied every year. Still, Peacemaker has some plus points that make the series rise just a little above average.
First of all there is the fantastic soundtrack that will certainly appeal to fans of the slightly harder genre. That soundtrack is at times very sublimely integrated into the series. In addition, there is also John Cena who plays Peacemaker. The man will never become a top actor. But it is perhaps precisely because of that woodenness that the jokes incorporated in the series come into their own.
Finally, something about the extras that buyers of the DVD or Blu-ray are treated to. They are present in large numbers and provide a lot of extra viewing time.
