Second season Pennyworth to premiere in the middle of December

EPIX has finally confirmed the premiere date of the second season of the Batman prequel Pennyworth. Next to that, they've also released a teaser.

There were already some rumours about the premiere date of the second season of Pennyworth because executive producer and director John Cannon shared a date on his Instagram page. According to Cannon, the season would start on the 2nd of December. But he was wrong by a couple of days. The second season is set to premiere on the 13th of December, according to EPIX.

Among others, the cast will be expanded with Simon Manyonda (His Dark Materials), Jessica de Gouw (The Hunting), James Purefoy (Sex Education), Edward Hogg (Harlots) and Jessye Romeo (Curfew). EPIX has also released a first teaser for the new season of Pennyworth, which you can watch, down below;
