Perry Mason (2020) to premiere near the end of June

Perry Mason (2020), the reboot of a classic legal drama, will premiere near the end of June. The first trailer has just been released on HBO. Rolin Jones and Ron Fitzgerald make Perry Mason (2020). It is based on the characters that were created by Erle Stanley Gardner. The original CBS series that was also named Perry Mason revolved around the same criminal lawyer and premiered on the 21st of September in 1957. This initial version ended in 1966. The first episode of Perry Mason (2020) will release on HBO on the 21st of June. Down below, you can watch the trailer.

The series took place in Los Angeles in 1931. As the rest of the land recovers from the Great Depression, this city seems to be blooming. Matthew Rhys (The Americans) will portray famous criminal lawyer Perry Mason. He takes on the case of the decade. Mason's ruthless ways of finding the truth reveal a broken city and maybe even a way for his redemption.



The rest of the cast consists of John Lithgow, Tatiana Maslany, Juliet Rylance, Chris Chalk, Shea Whigham, Stephen Root, Gayle Rankin, Nate Corddry, Veronica Falcon, Jefferson Mays, Lili Taylor, Andrew Howard, Eric Lange and Robert Patrick.
