Matthew Chauncey

Matthew Chauncey is an American screenwriter and producer known. He began his career as an assistant on Marvel's ABC television series Agent Carter. He later contributed as a writer to several Marvel Studios productions, including the Disney+ series What If...?, Ms. Marvel, and X-Men '97. In addition to his work in television, Chauncey created and executive-produced Self Center, an original scripted audio series for Audible and Conan O'Brien's Team Coco in 2022. Born in New Jersey, Chauncey attended Northwestern University, earning bachelor of science degrees in journalism, economics, and legal studies. Before transitioning to the entertainment industry, he worked for various print publications, including New York and Junior Scholastic magazines.
