In a couple of days, the first season of Power Book III: Raising Kanan is going to premiere. This hasn't stopped Starz from thinking about a second season already. “One season isn’t enough to tell the coming of age story of Kanan Stark and his mother, Raq, a fierce and successful woman who is a force of nature,” said Jeffrey Hirsch, President and CEO of STARZ.
The series is a spin-off to Power. Book III: Raising Kanan takes place in the 90s and shows the younger years of Kanan Stark. He is the fifteen-year-old single child of Raquel Thomas, a cocain distributor with an upcoming network of dealers.
