Private Lives of the Windsors

Private Lives of the Windsors is a British documentary which aired on Smithsonian Channel. The series premiered on October 7, 2019.

Many are familiar with King George VI and his older brother Edward, who rejected the throne for love. Few, however, know much about their siblings, Mary, Henry, George, and John. Join us as we examine the private lives of the first young Windsors across the social and political backdrop of the 1920s, '30s, and '40s. Through never-before-seen letters, diaries, and photographs belonging to the siblings, we reveal their hidden stories in their own words.
