Prodigal Son renewed with a second season

The American crime series, starring Tom Payne (The Walking Dead) and Michael Sheen (Masters of Sex), has been renewed for a second season by FOX.

The premiere episode of Prodigal Son was the best-watched episode of all new series from all networks of the 2019/2020 season, and was the first new series to receive a full-season order. FOX has now renewed the series with a second season.

Prodigal Son follows Malcolm Bright (Tom Payne). His father, Dr Martin Whitly (Michael Sheen), is the notorious serial killer The Surgeon, which has enabled Bright to imagine how serial killers think. Bright uses his genius but twisted mind to help the NYPD solve crimes and stop killers. Down below, you can watch a teaser for the new season.
