HBO Max has found a new lead actor for the upcoming comedy series Rap Sh*t.
Devon Terrell (Cursed (2020)) will portray one of the lead characters in the new HBO Max series called Rap Sh*t. Aida Osman (Betty) and Alja KaMillion (The Quad) will also portray lead characters. Jonica Booth (Oddly Oden) was already made part of the cast previously. Issa Rae (Insecure) has written the series.
The series revolves around two estranged high school friends from Miami, Shawna (Osman) and Mia (KaMillion). The duo is reunited with the goal of forming a rap group. Terrell will portray Cliff, Shawna's long-distance boyfriend who's studying law in New York. He met Shawna in Atlanta at the university they were both enrolled at.
