Premiere date second season 'Rectify' announced

Sundance Channel have announced that the second season of the acclaimed series 'Rectify' will premiere on Thursday, June 19th 2014. The captivating story of a man who is released from death row after twenty years has been praised by many critics. Additionally, 'Rectify' was a top-10 series in several countries.

'Rectify' is created and written by Ray McKinnon ('Deadwood', 'Sons of Anarchy') and produced by Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein, the Emmy-award winning producers of 'Breaking Bad'. The series is currently being filmed in Atlanta.

It remains unclear whether 'Rectify', like the first season, will consist of six episodes.
