Åremorden is een Zweedse misdaadserie van de zender Viaplay. De serie ging in première op 6 februari 2025.
Åremorden is gebaseerd op de eerste twee boeken van Viveca Sten in de misdaadserie The Åre Murders. Het verhaal draait om de Stockholmse politieagente Hanna Ahlander die haar toevlucht zoekt voor persoonlijke en professionele problemen in het schilderachtige Zweedse bergdorpje Åre. Maar wanneer op een ijskoude Sint-Luciadag een jonge vrouw verdwijnt, wordt Hanna al snel bij het onderzoek betrokken. Lokale politieagent Daniel Lindskog accepteert met tegenzin haar hulp.

I found this a super atmospheric and excellently acted Swedish crime series. Not as good as The Bridge or The Killing, but just below. The actors reacted like real people instead of characters from a novel. They had their little sides. Nice.
