On imdb you will find the amount of episodes of both season 1 and season 2. Also the description of the episodes. Unfortunately I can't find anything about when the sequel will be on TV either. Season 2 is still underway in America, so it may take a while.
On popcor time. (Can anyone with a computer put it on the computer for free) is the 2nd season up to and including the 12th episode. At the end of January, the 13th and immediately last episode will be added.
Great series, every episode makes you curious what will happen, it continues to fascinate me and absolutely not long-winded, I'm glad season 2 is coming!
Now that I've watched a few episodes, this series is just starting to get boring for me, I almost fall asleep because of it. I'm starting to get the urge to just stop with this series because for me it's no use!!
The first episode definitely fascinated me. But after that, my interest quickly declined. To my taste "Resurrection" is a bit bland and it all comes across a bit cheesy and too well-behaved. I have a bit of the same feeling with "Under the Dome" With pain and effort season 1 and I'll leave it at that. No season 2 for me.
Judging by the promo, this version of ABC is getting a lot less dark than Les Revenants. Rather a sensitive drama, with less emphasis on the oppressive atmosphere that the original has. But I don't think this is the official remake either, I thought A&E bought those rights and they're going to call it 'The Returned' as well. Are there two remakes (or rip-offs) of Les Revenants coming out in the same year, or am I completely wrong?
This series has nothing to do with Les Revenants. It is based on a book that was already out before Les Revenants came out. Les Revenants only appeared on the tube before, but this is definitely not a remake and has nothing to do with Les Revenants. The concept is the same and that's it. The quality of Les Revenants is nowhere near this series. It's unfortunate for Resurrection that there was a similar series shortly before that, which is infinitely better
That's not quite right to my knowledge. Les revenants is based on a French film from 2004. Resurrection is based on a 2013 book by Jason Mott. Resurrection with his book is therefore much newer and possibly also derived from the French version. Or is there a book version that predates Jason Mott's version?
