Schipper naast Mathilde is a Belgium comedy series which aired on Een. The series premiered on May 10, 1955.

Sitcom that revolved around the retired skipper Matthias, his dear sister Mathilde, the adopted daughter Marianneke, the meddling Madam Krielemans, the stuttering and dignified Philidoor, the stupid Sander and Hyppolit Maréchal who constantly used French expressions, but who made continuous grammatical errors. The family also owned a parrot who often commented on what was happening around them.
