Finally the second season started and I have to admit that season 2 is a lot better than season 1. Now and then the series is a bit long-winded and uncomfortable but good .. the acting is fine, on Lito and Capheus (season 2 after .. Bug is definitely my favorite character.

Very pleasant and original series. There is a constant pleasant atmosphere. The only downside is that it takes a long time to wait for a real red thread / storyline if one is already there. There should be, but ............ Otherwise very ok series.

No there are no criteria for it. The news stories are written when a writer is available and feels like writing it (it's all volunteer work). At the moment I am on vacation and I only write the weekly overview, which is why the news about Sense8 is in the weekly overview and not as a 'big' own news item. It took me a really long time to feel like the story was getting going, but once it did I found it to be a truly delightful and fantastic story.
So you have to be patient for it but as far as I'm concerned it was very much worth it. I found it moving and the openness in sexuality even touching. This series is exceptionally well done.

Quite a nice series. The idea that someone steps in the life of someone else from one moment to the next certainly appeals to the imagination. The collaboration between the various 'sensible people' is also interesting. Some actors should not have been in it, such as the character Nomi, or rather the actress who plays her. Either she cannot act at all or she is really like that: her completely emotionless and monotonous way of talking / acting is not pleasant to watch / listen to, to say the least. Even in danger to life and on the run, she continues to 'act' very monotonously. And I also agree with some others that not only is there an overload of (gay) porn, but it shouldn't have been there at all. This is drama / science fiction and not almost hardcore (gay) porn, right? Is Netflix mainly marketing porn or something? This is already the second series in which gay porn is shown in abundance and very explicitly. If I had wanted to see porn in any form or degree, I would not have chosen to watch a science fiction, but I would have rented a movie from the video store!

Kissing men, women, straight people, gays or baboons, that will be a bit of a blow to me, but there is an essential difference between some kissing or penetrating and stripping each other for men, women, straight people, gays or baboons! Maybe you should take a closer look at the series and read what others write. You may find it great and normal to watch sex scenes that are very explicit and leave absolutely nothing to the imagination, nice for you, but not everyone is served by this. These are the kind of movies that fall under the 'xxx' category, rather than science fiction, and should have been released as such, or at least a forewarning. Most people have enough imagination to think about what happens next when the kissing between 2 people ends in a walk to the bedroom, this does not have to be shown very visually. If I want to see what's going on in that bedroom, I'll rent a movie. And yes, it's 2015 ... so? Is everything allowed suddenly just like that? Do we now have to sit on the couch with our 13 and 14-year-old children thinking of watching a science-fiction that .... oops .... especially seems to be an ode to sex, sexual orientation, porn, .... ? Fortunately, in 2015 there are still people who do try to educate their children within their moral compass and do not enjoy watching exuberant sex scenes with their 13-year-old with a beer in hand. And what about 'get over yourself' and try to hook up? You may feel attracted by previous comments, but keep your comments and disapproval for the series and not for others who, like you, have every right to give THEIR opinion about a series.

haha. sorry but this is funny .. you know what it is. Netflixx releases what is in demand. Apparently people have a need for this kind of series. Like Game of thrones, True Blood, Banshee, Strike back, can go on for a while. Take Ray Donovan - sex addict. So many other series have their dose of sex. And with sense8 it is, according to my der om, that they are connected. Feeling what the other feels, experiences. Thought it was funny, when they meet each other, in real life,: "I know you" - "Oh, you are the guy I had intense gay sex with" - (or something like that)

Well, maybe I'm a bit old-fashioned, but there is a lot of cursing in this series. There is also a decent portion of sex (completely naked). Both do not have to be like that for me, but that does not mean that it is a great series. I gave myself up to Episode 6 but after Episode 4 I was sold. It is not a series to look at with one eye because you have to keep your attention. Very special and certainly worth a second season. Then just see what "they" make of it.
