Teaser trailer reveals that Sex Education's fourth season will be its last

Sex education on Netflix won't be around for long. The series will stop after the fourth season, according to a teaser trailer revealing the release date.
Sex Education is a remarkable series in which humor is central. The ratings have always been pretty good, but after major changes in the cast, Netflix decides to call it quits after this upcoming fourth season. In a teaser for the new season, the streamer announces that the fourth season will also be the last season.

News of the final season isn't a complete shock, as several of the main cast members had already publicly stated they wouldn't be returning for a possible fifth season. In February, Emma Mackey told the RadioTimes that she had "parted with Maeve" after previously revealing she would be taking a step back in the fourth season and her character reportedly wouldn't be as dominant.

Sex Education

The fourth season of Sex Education is also undergoing a major cast change with several actors already leaving the series. We no longer see the characters Emily Sands (Rakhee Thakrar), Lily Iglehart (Tanya Reynolds), Ola Nyman (Patricia Allison) and Olivia Hanan (Simone Ashley), among others. Well, we do get Asa Butterfield, Gillian Anderson, Ncuti Gatwa, Aimee-Lou Wood, Emma Mackey, Connor Swindells, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Mimi Keene, George Robinson, Chinenye Ezeudu, Dua Saleh, Alistair Petrie, Samantha Spiro, Jim Howick, Rakhee Thakrar and Daniel Ings back.

From September 21, 2023, we can expect the series on Netflix and enjoy the adolescent adventures one more time.
