Truly brilliant. The way in which the old stories have been moved to the present has rarely been so successful. This is due to inventive editing work, good scripts, excellent actors and the fantastic decoration of the whole. A lot better than the movie with Robert Downey Jr. Too bad that with that cliffhanger at the end of the season it takes so long before new episodes come (autumn 2011).

First of all, this series is super good and I can hardly wait for a new season and then hope that they will wrap it up and not go in the same direction as many other series like the pretender. This series also led me to buy and read Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's books.

Is it just me or is every episode in season 1 'almost' the same? i just watched episode 0 and am now watching episode 1 but it looks exactly the same? it's a pretty nice series but the disadvantage is that you know what they are going to say because you have also seen the same sentences in the previous episode..
