Grandiose is this series, beautiful scenery, vivid images. Really good: acting and storyline. Absolutely recommended, as far as I am concerned.

An exciting series set on the mystical Shetland Islands in which the intelligent, persistent inspector Jimmie Perez solves complex crimes with his small team. Particularly strong from seasons 3 to 5 because of the various storylines in which it appears that a crime can lead to different perpetrators and victims, each time with a cliffhanger that makes you want to quickly look further. Can be seen in full on NPO, pleasant and convenient.

I have been watching this series for years and always look forward to the next season. The actors are all fantastic, no American schmuck, just people as they are in normal life. Nature and weather conditions indicate how people live there. Every episode seems believable and I can't wait until the next season comes along. Hope many more come.
