I already love this show, E1! The father daughter bond is something a lot of us girls out there without mothers can relate to. The whole concept and theme made it an instant 'want to watch' for me.

This series is a bit disappointing for me. I am generally charmed by Tim Allen, but this show is too much on autopilot.
The relationship with the daughter and grandchildren is almost the same as in Home Improvement and Last Man Standing. With the difference that these shows still had a hilarious backdrop of the Toolman and the Outdoor man. Now he owns a garage, which is full of stereotypical characters. Not really nice. His daughter is not really a nice type with her drawling voice. The granddaughter is one of those typical early adult wise guys. Also nothing new and at times annoying. Only the grandson could still make a nice development, but that remains to be seen.
All in all I am not convinced after the first four episodes. I give it a 6. And if it improves it can always be increased.
