Rarely seen something so scary that was also super original at the same time, because horror and originality usually don't fit together in the same sentence, haha! The acting is simply astonishing. Elizabeth Moss is great, as always. Jamie Bell ditto. What a great creep he creates! I'm not the faint of heart, but after the first episode I literally had nightmares. Only the very best horror can sink into your subconscious and Shining Girls is at that level. Highly recommended, even for non-ghoul and/or horror fans. Hopefully this series gets what it deserves: 1) a loyal fan base and 2) recognition from the critics.
