Don't consider my comment below read as I was still around season 1 (can't it be deleted?), because this is truly one of the best (if not the best) series I've ever seen. top quality, good actors, nice characters that you really empathize with and of course the humor. So you see that you can't immediately have an opinion if you only start with the series hahah and then of course the end... (TOP)

This series, along with 'The Wire', is one of the best drama series ever made. I've never followed a series from start to finish where you can fully empathize with all the characters' choices. Everyone has their weird, dark, hysterical sides and the choices these characters make don't always deserve the beauty prize, but you get the idea... It's sublime. Great black humor, scenes where you want to eat your shoe soles of empathy and the last episode I had to let sink in for a week. I never cry when I watch series, sometimes have to swallow, but the last scene.... Speechless. I still get goosebumps just thinking about it. A series about life that grabs you by the throat. I can't say anything else.
