Skymed follows a group of young medical workers and pilots who fly air ambulances across the vast and remote regions of Northern Canada. The series combines high-altitude medical emergencies (up to 20,000 feet) with personal drama and professional challenges. The stories are based on real-life experiences and show the complexity and intensity of working in air care.

Season three saw the characters face new personal and professional challenges. The mix of adrenaline, extreme medical procedures and relationship storylines made the season compelling for viewers.

Season four sees the return of familiar faces. Natasha Calis will reprise her role as Hayley, Morgan Holmstrom returns as Crystal, Mercedes Morris continues as Lexi, Sydney Kuhne returns as Stef and Aaron Ashmore returns as Wheezer. While this core cast has been confirmed, additional cast members will be announced at a later date.

With season four, Skymed continues its combination of suspense, humanity and aviation drama. Viewers can once again expect impressive rescue operations and powerful stories of courage, solidarity and survival in the most inhospitable areas of Canada.
