Val Ahern, is met haar echtgenoot Denis en haar drie dochters woonachtig is een klein dorpje aan de woeste kust van County Clare. De ochtend na een familiefeest wordt haar man dood gevonden aan de voet van een rots, waarna Val probeert te achterhalen wat er die nacht precies is gebeurd.

In this series they have crammed everything they could come up with. Ideal if you want to play crime series bingo, but it doesn't benefit the story and the characters; very unbelievable and didn't really interest me.

Good and beautiful series, certainly not too slow. It's just annoying that moralizing nonsense about the AA and those stupid meetings! Watched all 3 seasons and no regrets!

The slowness of the series makes it difficult to keep watching. I also agree with Hagazar that there are far too many plots. Besides that, there is no one who is honest and that is going to irritate. I'm surprised Denis hasn't been knocked off a rock by anyone before. What a very unpleasant person (and I say it nicely)...
