Stargate: Origins is een Amerikaanse sciencefictionserie op de website stargatecommand.co. De serie ging in première op 15 februari 2018
Het verhaal zal gaan over de belevenissen van Catherine Langford. Dit personage werd geïntroduceerd in de bioscoopfilm uit 1994. Daarin was te zien hoe de vader van Catharine de Stargate in 1928 in Egypte ontdekte. Ze was toen nog een kind. In 1994 leidt Catherine zelf het onderzoek naar de Stargate, totdat het leger de leiding over het project neemt.

Reasonable series, which is not quite in line with the rest of stargate. A big minus WAY too short episodes. 10 minutes is actually not worth the effort, think they should keep the bottom at least at 20 min, Preferably just 45 minutes

Can not wait. Just hope it doesn't turn out to be some Indiana Jones story. I am a member of the Facebook page of Origins and have seen the trailers. Really hope they don't screw this up. I have been waiting for years for a comeback of one of the greatest Sci-Fi series ever. It will make me wonder!

Yes .... I don't really know what to think about this. On the one hand I get really nostalgic from the use of many old props (the dhd in episode 3 for example) and sounds, but on the other hand the acting is often really mediocre. Lots of bad moments, but the nostalgia and need for more stargate kind of hides it for me ... a 6.5 - Edited May 11, 2018.

Nice Stargate series that tells the story of the time before the first film and the time of the discovery of the Stargate. It first consisted of 10 short episodes, but later they combined them into a feature film which is much easier to watch! So for those who haven't seen this yet, try to get your hands on the movie.
