Normally not like the law series more comedies, SF and here and there some crime solving (white collar, Hawaii 5-O) but this series is great, devoured 5 episodes in 1 day

The series started very strongly and I wanted to keep watching in the first seasons. Now that we have come to the end of Season 6, I believe they have continued with this series for too long. It's very predictable and the actors' chemistry is getting less and less. They should have stopped after season 4 and had to end it with a worthy end then this series would have ended a lot higher in my list. It is a pity that there is too little innovation. I can't wait until the last episode has aired and it can be locked.

7. sezon finalinde Mike ve Rachel'i evlendirdiler. Sonra bir anda ikisini de diziden çıkarıp, Rachel'in babasını ana kadroya aldılar. Şirkete Mike'ın adının yazılacağı günleri beklerken; Rachel'in babası geldi tuhaf bir şekilde... Öncesinde Jessica Pearson'un şirketten ve şehirden ayrılması hafif rahatsız etmişti zâten. Sometimes you are just in a dip, guys. You probably know the feeling. You're trying to do exactly the same thing you've always done, but for some reason the feeling is different. Everything does not look good anymore. Unfortunately, it can sometimes take a while before you feel good about yourself again. This is the story of Suits over the years. The shine was off. The series was repeated too often. The episodic episodes became more and more of the same. The storylines were disappointing. The journey the characters experienced became less and less interesting. And, perhaps most importantly, too little was at stake. Suits is essentially a series about a man who knows his deceit will eventually catch up with him. As Americans say: 'he's living on borrowed time'. Mike (Patrick J. Adams, Rosemary's Baby) could have been a great lawyer, but he made the choice to cheat. With the help of Harvey (Gabriel Macht, Middle Men. Season 5, it must finally happen: Mike and Rachel (Meghan Markle, Fringe) are getting married. In addition, of course, someone again (senior partner Jack Soloff) is looking for the throne of Jessica / Harvey. But what makes the fifth season really interesting is that the storyline around Mike's deception flares up again. In the second half this storyline is even central. That gives the fifth season something (especially the third and fourth seasons) did not have: the central storyline around which the series revolves is really central. Suits became a bit of a routine job in recent seasons. Pearson / Specter / Litt always had a 'visibly' difficult case before them, which was again solved by a trick of Mike (or sometimes Harvey) Next to that there was the bromance between Harvey and Mike, the bickering between them, Donna who usually didn't get much more to do than be the best legal assistant (or the voice of reason) in New York and Louis's shenanigans. There's nothing wrong with that, but each series has to reinvent itself more or less every season to keep it interesting. In every drama series (especially film) there has to be something at stake. What are the interests? What drives / motivates these characters? What can they lose. What's at stake? That feeling is fully present again this season. The first part of the season may be more Suits as you might be used to, but the second part clearly finds a different gear. Then it is about consequences, perhaps saving your own skin, loyalty, trust, despair and fear. It is tangible and that makes this season a better season than the previous two seasons. It gets hot under everyone's feet and that's what I've mostly missed in Suits the previous seasons. Suits, in turn, is what Suits is in essence: the story of a man who, because of his choice, will always have to look back. Always lives in uncertainty, for fear that his secret might come out. Most of the fifth season of Suits is what you expect, but with a renewed energy. There are some lesser storylines (the tug of war about Donna by Louis and Harvey) and in the first part of the season it is less interesting. Fortunately, the acting is familiar good. Thankfully Wendell Pierce (The Wire) is back as Robert Zane. John Pyper-Ferguson is also doing very well as the crafty Jack Soloff. Leslie Hope also stars as the ruthless district attorney Anita Gibbs. Pearson / Specter / Litt finally finds a formidable opponent in Anita Gibbs. An opponent who does not go away after a trick from Mike. An adversary as clever as them. Mrs. Hope was a very welcome addition. Maybe you thought, like me, that Suits had lost its shine. I may not be able to fully adjust that opinion. A good season after lesser seasons is good, but of course it does not mean that the level of the second half of the season will last forever. The great thing about the upcoming sixth season is that the series has new perspectives. It can now go in a different direction and that can benefit the storytelling. So I'm curious what creator Aaron Korsh and his team make of it. I'm definitely looking forward to the sixth season of Suits. I'm glad I can just say that again. www.meneervevie.com
