Supernatural is een Amerikaanse bovennatuurlijke serie van de zender The CW. De serie ging in première op 13 september 2005.
Supernatural gaat over de broers Winchester die het bovennatuurlijke kwaad bestrijden. Ze nemen hierbij de taak van hun vader John over, die hiermee begonnen is om de dood van zijn vrouw te wreken. Dankzij hun vader groeien Sam en Dean op als demonenjagers. In elke aflevering lossen Dean en Sam een mysterie op door met een bovennatuurlijke tegenstander af te rekenen. Mysteries draaien meestal om kwaadaardige geesten, maar ook vampiers, weerwolven en andere demonen moeten worden verslagen. Mysteries spelen zich af door heel Amerika heen. Dit betekent dat elke aflevering zich in een andere stad of dorp afspeelt, wat de serie een extra dimensie geeft. Omdat Dean vliegangst heeft, rijden de broers per auto van stad naar stad. Dean's 67 Chevy Impala is dan ook, na zijn broer Sam, het meest dierbare in zijn leven.

I'm on season 4 now and have to admit that the series is starting to get really fun. It was even in season 1 and 2 but season 3 was very good. In the first episode of season 4, Castiel is introduced. The whole concept of an angel fascinates me. I'm curious!

Recently I started this series! in a word: great !! This is one of the few series that I can wholeheartedly give a 10! Am very positive about this and I hope they make many more seasons. Because let's be honest ... you can't get enough of the Winchester brothers, can you?

This weekend I started season 1 and my teenage son was very excited, now we watch together. That is saying something, because except for The Walking dead and Nashville, he normally comes out behind his iPad or XboxOne for nothing ... I'm already looking forward to 11 seasons of Supernatural!

I continue to like this series! Despite the fact that it has actually been the same for 9 years, I continue to enjoy watching it. Of course it is not very annoying to look at beautiful men, but the story continues to fascinate me. I love Crowley and Castiel always makes me laugh out loud! I keep watching no matter how long they go on....

Are there any other people who thought this was a very bad ending? 15 seasons later and then ending .. The second to last episode had a better ending. I expected a lot more from it. Of course, it doesn't take away from the fact that I enjoyed the 15 seasons with Sam and Dean. In any case, I will never forget. Tribute!

Not very good, but not very bad either. Indeed, the penultimate episode is already the apotheosis in the fight with God. The last episode seemed a bit redundant, but in my eyes this rounds off the series nicely with their death and admission to heaven. Did you also vote for this series at "Best Ended Series"?

No, did not vote for this series. I had to choose between Viking's, Homeland and Supernatural. Although I enjoyed Supernatural, I still opted for a different series. I can believe the ending where both gentlemen are in heaven, but not the way. A "valve" in this way is not necessarily the best valve of the series. There was certainly more feasible. Would have sacrificed both gentlemen to defeat God or something. That had shown a lot of credibility.

Now watched the last episode of 9 seasons.. Waiting until season 10 is finished and then I watch them all in succession. Very much enjoyed seasons 8 and 9!

Totally addicted to Supernatural! Watched the whole series twice in half a year and now impatiently waiting every week for a new episode of season 13 ???? I had to get used to the 1st season and the budget of $ 20,000 can be seen. From season 2 I became really addicted and especially Ackles acts very well (the man is also not a punishment to watch). Like that most episodes and monsters are based on real sages (lores). The visual effects also get better every season. There is a lot of humor in the series (funny references to films and songs), especially Dean can be wonderfully cynical and sarcastic. The series is also peppered with good music. The series also made me watch the many SPN conventions on Youtube and those guys are great. Down to earth, super funny and fun with their fans. Especially the YouTube videos with Jensen / Jared (J2) and Misha are often hilarious.
