Production final season Supernatural halted due to the coronavirus

Production on the final season has been halted due to the coronavirus. Now it is the question whether or not The CW can finish production in time.

It will only take a couple more weeks before Supernatural will air its final episode, but production has been temporarily delayed. Now it is the question if production can continue on time so that the series finale will air in the current television season. It is not yet known when production is ready to go on. Because of that, it is also unsure if the series finale will be able to air in time. If that doesn't happen, it might take a little longer before the series is over.

The halted production may not just affect this series, but Jared Padalecki's upcoming project as well. This project, which is also for The CW, is known as Walker. But if production on the final episodes of Supernatural is delayed too long, it may result in a delay for Walker.

All of this doesn't just affect one CW series final season, as another series is also currently working on its last season. I'm talking about The 100. The cast and crew of The 100 would've started in the upcoming week. For now, they're hoping that they don't have to send anyone home due to the coronavirus. The premiere of the final season is still planned for this spring. For now, production on most CW series is halted.
