Am now at episode 6. Good series, but I don't really understand the connection with fairytales. Then the fairytale part could be applied to every series

Yes it is quite far fetched I think. On this wikipedia page you can read which fairy tale character the characters in the series should represent. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tell_Me_a_Story_(TV_series) You just have to know, because if nothing had ever been said about a connection between this series and certain fairytales, I would just have it as a normal thriller / action series seen, which I actually think anyway. :)

The series was not that bad for me! In any case, there are plenty of things going on to keep you entertained. The link to some fairy tales is difficult to make, but if you know which fairy tales are being referred to, a lot falls into place.
