Molly Gordon cast in second season of The Bear

The Bear has expanded its cast for its second season. Actress Molly Gordon joins the cast in a recurring role.The Bear follows Carmen 'Carmy' Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), an award-winning chef from New York City, who returns home to run his Italian sandwich shop after his brother's suicide. He is saddled with a lot of debt, a dilapidated kitchen and a talented but unruly staff.

The cast of The Bear includes White, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Abby Elliott, Liza Colón-Zayas, Edwin Gibson and Matty Matheson. Deadline has not revealed any details about Molly Gordon's role.



Gordon (pictured) guest-starred in Netflix series Orange Is the New Black and Hulu's Ramy, and had regular roles in Animal Kingdom (2016) (TNT) and Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty (HBO), among others.

FX on Hulu has renewed The Bear for a second season in July 2022. The episode count for season two has been increased to ten after an eight-episode first season.

Christopher Storer created and executive produced the comedy series with Joanna Calo, Hiro Murai and Nate Matteson of Super Frog and Josh Senior.

Season two will arrive on Hulu this summer, but an official premiere date has not yet been announced.
