Nice series with deadly action, humorous situations, family troubles, demons, boredom is not the message. Can't wait for the second season.

The Bondsman starts off strong with a wonderfully dark sense of humor. Kevin Bacon as a bounty hunter who has to track down souls for the devil after his death. The series leans nicely on bloody absurdity and colorful characters, but gradually loses its edge. As soon as the personal drama gets more space and the world gets bigger, the series loses its tone a bit. Fun to watch, but the bizarre idea is not fully developed.

I totally agree with Futsudo. As the series progresses, the horror part plays a smaller and smaller role and it becomes more about the family drama. And that hardly matters because that drama is rather generic and we have seen it many times before.
The demons and the hunt for them don't even make up half of an average episode. I'm still a bit disappointed.
