Mason Dye cast as Bombsight in fifth and final season of The Boys

Mason Dye has acquired a guest role in the fifth and final season of The Boys as the character Bombsight. Further details are being withheld, but Bombsight was previously mentioned in The Boys as the third-oldest known superhero in history who was active in the 1950s. No one confirms this, but sources say Bombsight will be a guest star in the fifth season of The Boys.



According to sources, Bombsight will be introduced in The Boys before moving on to the upcoming prequel spin-off series Vought Rising, with Dye (pictured) set to star opposite Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash.

The Boys stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit and Cameron Crovetti.

The series, based on the bestselling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, who are also executive producers, is developed by executive producer/showrunner Eric Kripke. Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Phil Sgriccia, Michaela Starr, Paul Grellong, David Reed, Meredith Glynn, Judalina Neira, Ken F. Levin and Jason Netter also executive produce.

Dye had a recurring role as Jason Carter in the fourth season of Netflix series Stranger Things. Before that, he also had roles in Prime Video's Bosch, MTV's Finding Carter and MTV's Teen Wolf.
