Moby Dick (2011)) as one of the lead characters. The American drama series is based on the novel with the same name from John McBride, which released in 2013.
The Good Lord Bird has seven episodes and will premiere on Showtime on the ninth of August.
The series revolves around a group of freedom fighters led by radical abolitionist John Brown (Ethan Hawke), who travels through the United States to end slavery. The story is told from the perspective of Onion (Joshua Caleb Johnson,
