The Haunted Palace

The Haunted Palace is an South-Korean fantasy series which is aired on SBS. The series premiered on April 18th, 2025.

Yun Gap, a civil servant in the palace, is known for his good reputation and handsome appearance. One day, his body becomes possessed by an Imoogi, after which he is considered insane. This Imoogi has a connection with Yeo Ri, Yun Gap's first love. Yeo Ri, granddaughter of a famous shaman, has a divine talent but refuses her fate as a medium and chooses the profession of glassblower. The Imoogi wants to use Yeo Ri's body to ascend to Heaven, but she refuses. After Yun Gap's possession, Yeo Ri comes to the palace, where powerful female and evil spirits reside. King Yi Seong, a reform-minded monarch, wants a strong Joseon. Spirits with a grudge against the royal family cause strange events. Yun Gap, Yeo Ri and King Yi Seong try to unravel the mystery of these spirits in order to drive them away.
