Top series and incredibly exciting, adapted perfectly from the fantastic book. Great actors and the same atmosphere as the book. Wonderful!

Based on Stephen King's novel, The Institute follows young Luke Ellis as he is imprisoned in a sinister institution where children with special abilities are used for experiments. At the same time, we slowly uncover the larger conspiracy through ex-agent Tim Jamieson. The atmosphere is oppressive, the setting compelling, and the cast is impressive. Joe Freeman is strong as Luke, Ben Barnes brings warmth as Tim, and Mary Louise Parker shines as the icy Ms. Sigsby.
Although the series is a bit slow at times and doesn't always feel original, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The story is gripping, the moral themes resonate, and the combination of suspense, mystery, and strong performances makes it more than worth it. For Stephen King fans and lovers of dark thrillers, this is a must-read.
