The Lakes

The Lakes is an English dramaseries which is aired on BBC One. The series premiered on September 14, 1997.

Doom-laden but compelling BBC1 drama series embracing sex, death and Catholic guilt, set in a small community in the Lake District. The first four-part series centred on newcomer Danny Kavanagh; the second 10-part series featured other characters in the community.
