Even though the distribution rights for The Last Kingdom are completely in the hands of Netflix in most of the world, the rights for the fourth season are still in the hands of the BBC in the Benelux. That's why this fourth season cannot be seen on Netflix in that region as of yet. The fourth season, however, will be available on BBC First starting from July the 22nd.
A lot of Benelux fans of The Last Kingdom were disappointed after Netflix had made a certain announcement. They said that the fourth season would be available on the 26th of April in that region, but it wasn't. It never released on the 26th of April. It has not yet been revealed either when it will release, but for now, the season will become available on BBC First.
