I think episode 3 fits into the list of ''best episodes of all time'' for me. If this doesn't get any Emmy nominations for outstanding guest actor, I'll eat my shoe.

Will there be a The Last of Us spin-off TV series focusing on the characters Bill and Frank? Since the third episode of The Last of Us, which is largely about Bill and Frank's relationship, fans have regularly said that they want to see more of the duo. It's been a long time since I was so excited for a new series. That is sometimes dangerous, because the higher the expectations, the greater the chance of disappointment. However, the first episode did not disappoint me at all. On the contrary! We are spoiled; the first episode lasts 80 minutes. 80 minutes full of visually appealing images, lots of action and good actors. The show immediately gives a good introduction to the story, the world, the characters and the mutual relationships. If the makers maintain this level, this could easily become one of my favorite shows of all time. But it's still a bit too early for that ;) My body will be less happy with it later, but this is one of those series that I immediately wanted to watch. Even if it is posted online at 3am. I don't know if I'll be able to keep this up every week, but for now I can go to bed with a happy heart :-)

I have given very few series a 10. This is because I think that a series for a 10 should really be perfect. And there is something to criticize about most series. But for this series I made an exception. After seeing episode 8 and assuming that the season ending will be just as good, I decided to give it a go. Everything just fits in this series. The story, the acting, the production. Every week I eagerly await the new episode. And it's been a long time since I had that. A well-deserved 10! We will see whether this remains the case for the next season, but for now this is my conclusion.

Binged the first season, really great. There are a few differences compared to the game, but they are allowed because of the storyline in the series. Somehow I hope that the makers will show a little more of the Infected in the next seasons. But 1 bloater is a bit meager :)

As a gamer I am a huge fan of The Last Of Us Part 1. I was initially quite skeptical about the idea of making TLOU a series. But fair is fair HBO does it again. After top series such as: Oz, Soprano's, The Wire, Game of Thrones and Chernobyl, they now bring this hit. I know the story but after seeing the 3rd episode all I can say is that the series really gets better and better

Somehow I think it's a shame that I played the game several years ago and therefore already know the story. I must also honestly say that after 9 episodes I am not yet completely convinced of both Pedro and Bella, but I can't put my finger on why... Pedro only actually plays in really good series, so he can definitely act. The cameo appearances of Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson playing the voices of Joel and Ellie in the game were a lot of fun to watch. Very nice that they got a role.
