The Mandalorian is a live action series set in the Star Wars universe, it was developed by Jon Favreau and produced by Lucasfilm. The titular character is portrayed by Pedro Pascal. The show revolves around a lonely bounty hunter in the outer edges of the star system. The show takes place after the fall of the Galactic Empire and before the emergence of the First Order, so between the Star Wars films Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens.
Recordings for the second season already started in October 2019. Jon Favreau has brought into the world that the second season will arrive somewhere in fall 2020. Insiders have hinted that several characters from the mythological Star Wars feature films will appear during the second season of the series.
