Nice old series that you can see as an early British (Scottish) precursor to The X-Files. It is mainly focused on parapsychological phenomena such as clairvoyance, psychokinesis and mind reading. The series is from the late 1970s and it shows in everything. Clothes, cars, hairstyles, etc. But the stories are fun and the acting is excellent. It is a BBC Scotland series and is mainly set in Edinburgh. Unfortunately, the series ended after one season. It is said that this was due to a commotion caused by a Christian lady who did not find the themes appropriate. Anyway, too bad. I would have liked to see more of it.
