Anna en haar vriendinnen Nancy, Louie en Cat werken voor de brouwerij van de boosaardige Jack Evans, wiens pestgedrag ze grondig beu zijn. Op een dag, nadat ze te veel gedronken hebben, besluiten ze om Jack een lesje te leren en hem in een bos achter te laten. Maar kort daarna wordt hij dood teruggevonden. Daarop sluiten de vriendinnen een pact.

Great series set in Wales. Laura Fraser plays the tormented mother who has to deal with a big secret. Her husband is in charge of the case and because of this side plot stories with family drama come into play, which is strongly developed and has a decent climax. A must for those who like the better British Crime work.

I was already afraid of it, but the 2nd season can't grab me. It's not bad, but it doesn't come close to the 1st season (for me anyway). I'm also not going to give a rating for the 2nd season, because that could bring the average score down and that would be a shame.

I really enjoyed this series (1st season). For me, from the start it was as if nothing could go wrong with so many familiar faces, actors who have proven their craftsmanship for years. A nice exciting story and if you thought you were smart during the 1st episode, you weren't... I'm now going to watch the 2nd season and I have a feeling that it won't come close to the 1st season . The first season is definitely recommended and I will let you know what I thought of the 2nd season.
