Another series I'm skipping. I didn't even finish the first episode. This is so utterly American with its "look at us being good" vibe that I couldn't watch it any longer. And so unoriginal. You see all the plot points coming well in advance. And how many Navy Seals series have we had by now? No, this couldn't hold my attention. Too bad, I actually quite liked the first series. But I'll pass on this one.

That's a misconception then. The first episode is an introduction, after which they move away from the whole Navy Seals thing... but you didn't get that far. I'd be very impressed if you could predict all the plot points for the rest of the series based on episode 1.

I think you're too much in your anti-American bubble. The series shows just how rotten it can be. And how manipulatively soldiers are used.
But okay, what you said about what to expect. There's some truth to it, but yeah, if you watch a lot of series or movies, everything seems a bit the same.
I personally thoroughly enjoyed this series. No rainbow culture or checklist of actors' needs these days. Even the lead actor could easily be a white man. You can immediately tell that if you drop all the woke rules, at least some quality emerges.
