The After cancelled by Amazon Studios for series premiere

The new science fiction project ‘The After’ from Chris Carter (The X-Files) has been cancelled by Amazon Studios. On 6 February 2014 the pilot aired and the series was ordered for a full season in March 2014 thanks to positive viewers' comments.

Roy Price, Vice President at Amazon Studios, has given no reason for this sudden decision, but said in a statement: “We have decided to not move forward with ‘The After’. We would like to thank Chris Carter, the phenomenal cast, crew and producers for all their efforts.”

Only the pilot of ‘The After’ was taken into production. ‘The After’ is the first officially cancelled series in 2015.
