What a series ... If you like long-winded scenes that don't contribute to the story. A camera that zooms in for a long time on ... Just any plane that happens to fly over ... Walking through a corridor from end to end ... All those things that distract me make it boring for me. It even annoys me from time to time ... But I persist, whoever says A ... I like details, but experiencing the whole operation of a murderer. What's the point? If there are actors who can be the difference ... But Gillian Anderson is not the person for that. She needs someone opposite her who plays vividly, so that her usual colorless and emotionless acting can form a contrast and thus be easier to digest. That is still somewhat successful in seasons 1 and 2, but in the last season the action is gone and Anderson falls through the basket mercilessly. I don't feel any involvement with her as a viewer. Understand that she has to fight her own demons and is emotionless, but any boss would immediately send someone like that home on sick leave ... A series may rattle now and then, but in the way like in The Fall happened very badly. Could have been a lot more in it and that is a missed opportunity. In my opinion the edit could have been made even better ... It seems to me that especially that phase has gone through rather thoughtlessly. It can therefore (certainly in terms of atmosphere) not match series such as Broadchurch, The Missing and Happy Valley. Although they were certainly not rattle-free ;-)

I was sorry about the denouement which, for me, was predictable and a bit artificial in an otherwise very good 2nd season that was noticeably better than the first. Nevertheless, I see little reason for a third season myself, because the story has now been told.

Slow, slow and very, very slow. The story is good and the actors credible, but why are there so many redundant and long-lasting scenes in it. You can easily tell this in 6-7 episodes. More speed benefits the story and keeps the attention better. Season 3 is completely redundant.

I am very late to watch this series. It all started very exciting but in episode 3, I believe, the Spector gives the necklace stolen from his victim to his daughter. Totally unlikely. I have looked through but dropped out. I find it all too predictable. Incidentally, very well filmed and exciting story and good actors.
