Just watched the first episode. Totally agree with "twice". Very authentically filmed, great eye for detail, beautiful lighting. Also well played and exciting.....typically on his "BBC's" Be sure to watch all six episodes.

Daddy (Brian Cox), the head of MI5, sets up a secret committee to investigate the existence of a Soviet plot code-named Operation Glass, whose existence was revealed by a leaving KGB officer. The committee consists of Bobby Waterhouse (Paul Ritter), the head of counter-espionage; Sarah Montag (Victoria Hamilton), the deputy; Alan (Jonathan Aris), her husband; Jim Fenchurch (Shaun Dooley), a Special Branch detective; Wendy Straw (Chloe Pirrie), the secretary; and Joe Lambe (Tom Hughes), the interrogator who hides his own secrets. The team know that the Soviets are reactivating sleeper agents with a job. A new traitor is investigated in each episode to further understand Operation Glass.

Saw the first episode. Although this episode only covered the preparations for the actual game, it was captivating from start to finish. Good acting and wonderful old-fashioned espionage, filmed in a modern, atmospheric way. Already looking forward to part two

What a series! As I said before: the atmosphere and the acting are top notch. I really liked Episode 1 as a story. Episodes 2, 3 and 4 were a bit weaker. This was because they followed the same formula too much. But episodes 5 and 6 together formed a blistering finale. Hoping for a second season now :)
