De reeks gaat over Patrick Jane (Simon Baker), die het California Bureau of Investigation (CBI) adviseert. Jane heeft een opmerkelijk gave om serieuze misdaden op te lossen door zijn messcherpe observatievaardigheden te gebruiken. Ondanks dat Patrick het volgen van de protocollen aan zijn laars lapt en zijn gebrek aan grenzen, wordt hij gewaardeerd door zijn collega's.

Just watched the double episode of The Mentalist S07E12 & 13. This was the sequel to episode 11. At the end of this episode I got the feeling that this could be the end of the series. No sequels can be found on this site or on IMDB. If this is the end, I would think that, despite the nice conclusion, would be a real shame. Looked a little further and came across the following. A series that I enjoyed for 7 seasons. I'm TOO LATE following this series. Just because I had a different life .. (just watching different things on TV ..) BUT WHEN I FOUND IT ONCE .. SIT ON TWITTER AND FACE BOOK EVERY DAY .. with fans from all over the WORLD. This series has made people all over the world happy. FRIENDS GROUPS ARE BEGINNED .. FAN ENCOUNTERS .. WORLD WIDE ... I MYSELF MEET 3 GERMAN AND 2 FRENCH FRIENDS .. The next meeting should be sometime next year with my French and 2 American friends (including Tangie Ambrose, known as Samanta / Sam (Sam and Pete from the Kermis family) Other Fans have indicated that they will meet each other .. The Fan Club EXISTS A HALF YEAR AFTER THE "LAST" (you NEVER know that in America .. words from Robin Tunney on the twitter fan club) ng always .. This white fan club has completely changed my life .. Whether I am a fanatic ?? AS REGARDS THE MENTALIST ... DEFINITELY ..

It looks like there will be a 6th season of The Mentalist http://www.spoilertv.com/2012/06/mentalist-also-renewed-for-6th-season.html Well then they really need something going to do the tempo and more Red John, because now it gets boring and monotonous. It looks more like CSI meets Ghostwhisper/Medium than the series that started it all. Jane v Red John.
