The premiere date of ‘The Messengers’, the new apocalyptic drama series at The CW, is moved up a week. The premiere was originally scheduled for 10 April, now ‘The Messengers’ will premiere on 17 April. Why The CW has moved the date was not announced.
‘The Messengers’ begins when a mysterious object crashes down to Earth, causing a group of seemingly unconnected strangers to die from the energy pulse. But then they awaken to learn that they have been deemed responsible for preventing the impending apocalypse.
But not only ‘The Messengers’ is moved up a week, the new reality competition series ‘Cedric's Barber Battle’ and the improv series ‘Whose Line Is it Anyway’ will also start a week later. Friday nights at The CW will look as follows:
8.00-8.30 p.m. ‘Cedric’s Barber Battle’ (New)
8.30-9.00 p.m. ‘Whose Line Is it Anyway’ (Season 11)
9.00-10.00 p.m. ‘The Messengers’ (New)
