What a rotten ending again. Clearly another series that has been canceled unexpectedly. Lots of things that go unanswered and huge clif-hangers for something that will never come.

I could be wrong, but I don't think that's quite right. Les Revenants is a remake of a French film from 2004 by Robin Campillo (who doesn't know him?) And Resurrection is based on the 2013 book The Returned by Jason Mott. taken with its creative freedom, which makes the two very much alike. The conclusion is the same: Les Revenants = Resurrection = The Returned = Very Much Of The Same.
